Top charts, install KPIs, publisher releases, and keyword rankings refresh daily using UTC-based calendar gating. Breakout signals are recomputed against the previous 7 days every day, so the moment a game accelerates we flag it.
Are install numbers exact?
Install counts are directional estimates derived from public Google Play signals plus proprietary processing. They are accurate enough for competitive intelligence and trend detection, but should not be treated as exact billing-grade numbers.

What is breakout detection?
Breakout detection flags games whose 3-day install average is materially higher than their previous 7-day baseline — typically 4× or more — combined with rank velocity and category context. It is the earliest signal that a game is starting to move.
Does StoreSignal cover iOS or App Store?
Google Play is the primary focus and where coverage is deepest. iOS App Store coverage is supported for top charts and select features, with more iOS depth on the roadmap.
Is there a Chrome extension?
Yes — the StoreSignal Chrome extension overlays publisher and game intelligence directly on Google Play listings while you browse. Installs and KPIs appear inline on app pages so you do not have to switch tabs.
Can I connect StoreSignal to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor?
Yes — the StoreSignal MCP (Model Context Protocol) server is available on the Studio plan. It lets Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible clients query top charts, publisher activity, breakout signals, and keyword rankings directly.
Does StoreSignal offer an API?
