These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StoreSignal (“StoreSignal”, “we”, “our”, “us”), including our website, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Accounts & Access

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating and maintaining your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe your account is being used unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Checkout

Some parts of the Service require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing intervals, feature limits, and plan details are presented on our website, in your account, or at checkout.

We may use Paddle or another payment provider to process transactions. Where Paddle processes a transaction, Paddle may act as Merchant of Record or authorized reseller for that purchase, meaning the sale is processed by Paddle and related billing, payment handling, and certain consumer rights are governed by Paddle’s applicable terms and policies.

4. Trials & Promotional Access

We may offer free plans, trials, previews, betas, promotional access, or limited-feature access from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, such offers may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time to the extent permitted by law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, reproduce, or attempt to extract source code, models, or proprietary methods from the Service, except where prohibited by law.
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
  • Bypass plan limits, rate limits, security controls, or account restrictions.
  • Share access credentials in a way that violates your subscription or authorized usage scope.
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, or provide access to the Service to third parties unless expressly authorized by us in writing.
  • Upload malicious code, interfere with platform operations, or attempt unauthorized access to any account, network, or system.

6. Data, Signals & Accuracy Disclaimer

StoreSignal provides market intelligence, trend information, rankings, estimates, and related analytics that may be derived from third-party sources, public information, automated processing, and internal methodologies.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • metrics, charts, ranks, install estimates, release information, and related signals may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or approximate;
  • the Service is provided for informational and business research purposes only;
  • we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness of any specific dataset, signal, or output;
  • you are solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, product strategy, spending, and business outcomes based on the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, interface, branding, content selection, compilations, and underlying methods, is owned by StoreSignal and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service for your internal business or personal use.

8. Customer Content & Feedback

If you submit content, suggestions, ideas, feedback, support requests, or other materials to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and reproduce those materials as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, support, and secure the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit any such materials and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to, rely on, or integrate with third-party platforms, websites, tools, payment providers, analytics services, or data sources. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, policies, or practices.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, fail to pay applicable fees, or where required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but any provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue in effect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoreSignal and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your access to or use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid to us, or through our authorized payment reseller, for the Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StoreSignal and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the “Last updated” date, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the entity operating StoreSignal, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
